Home Church

Project Overview

Home Church in Red Deer is a significant architectural undertaking not only due to its size but also to its unique design and functionality. This building acts as a gathering place for church members, but it is also able to act as a concert or conference space. The expansive windows, wide-open spaces and ample gathering areas contribute to the unique architectural design. Grubb Engineering assisted on this project to ensure it was completed safely and as intended. We provided our Structural Engineer of Record and Specialist Structural Design services for this project, while also delivering Specialist Design and Detailing services for the extensive bleacher sections located within the building.

We gladly accepted the challenge of working on this approximately 62,675 square foot institutional construction project. Our structural engineers provided valuable insights on the wood truss roof, precast concrete insulated wall panels and concrete foundations.

This project was completed in the fall of 2023.
