Project Overview
With communities quickly aging, there is a growing demand for supportive care communities. Airdrie Care Community is a beautiful supportive living community that is made to feel like home to each and every resident. The state-of-the-art building is designed to provide a comfortable environment, with individual units as well as communal spaces and amenities. Grubb Engineering worked to ensure this project’s design and execution stayed true to the initial goals while being safe and efficient in the construction process. We supported this project with our Structural Engineer of Record, Precast Specialist Engineering and Production Detailing services.
Our team of structural engineers worked with the design and layout of precast concrete columns, precast concrete inverted tee beams, composite precast slabs and hollowcore within this 105,000 square foot structure.
This project was completed in the summer of 2020.
