Charis Village

Project Overview

Charis Village is a not-for-profit organization that works to provide a better solution to retirement living in Central Alberta. Charis Village needed a new, approximately 80,000 square foot structure to quickly meet growing demands. These retirement apartments offer many amenities in a gorgeously designed structure. Grubb Engineering helped to ensure that the well-thought-out design could safely and quickly be constructed while ensuring the different functionalities could be executed. Our team of structural engineers assisted with our Structural Engineer of Record, Precast Specialist Engineering and Production Detailing services.

There were a wide range of construction materials that we provided our expert insights on, including precast concrete columns, precast concrete inverted tee beams, composite precast slabs and hollowcore.

This project was completed in the summer of 2020.
