Vancouver Airport Parkade

Project Overview

The Vancouver Airport is one of the largest and most bustling transportation centers in Canada. A new, sizable parkade needed to be designed and constructed to accommodate the number of travellers coming and going from the airport. Grubb Engineering provided several services, including Design-Assist, Structural Engineer of Record, Precast Specialist Engineering and Production Detailing on this approximately 1,000,000 square foot parking structure.

Our team of structural engineers offered our insights into the various construction materials that made up the parkade, including precast concrete columns, inverted tee beams, spandrels and double tees.

This project was completed in the fall of 2020.
